Bath Risk Assessment/ Health and Safety

For a couple of the scenes I want the actor to be in the bath underwater, which could be dangerous if we aren't careful. There are a few things both myself and the actress needs to take care with and pay attention to.

Bath- I will remind the actress to take care when climbing in and out of the bath, and will help her if necessary.

Water- The bath will be filled with water so we both need to take care not to slip or get it on the camera equipment, we will do this by not splashing and cleaning up any spillages straight away.

Being underwater- My actress needs to hold her breath but I will remind her to breathe out as necessary and come out of the water if she needs to breathe. I do not want her to strain for breath at any point it would be too dangerous.

Camera equipment- My equipment will be set up close to the bath which means it will be in the way slightly and really close to the water. To stop any accidents we will both look out for the tripod and take care when moving around it and take care with the water.
