Script

Int. House- Day.

A woman is stood staring out of the window, thinking.

Int. Bath- Day.

A woman is laid in the bath, she puts her head underwater and stares. staring. The water moving around her is distorting face. She sits up out, unable to breathe.

Int. Bedroom- Day.

A woman is knelt looking in the mirror at her distorted reflection. She is unimpressed by the sight of her face.

Int. House- Day.

A woman is dat on the floor crying, unhappy with her appearance.

Ext. Park- Day.

A woman is leaning over the edge of the pond looking at her reflection. Disgusted by the sight she splashes the water to get rid f her reflection then leaves.

Ext- Insert.

Water ripples.

Scenes 1-6

In these scenes a girl is in water, her face distorted. It then cuts to her silhouette, which it zooms into to black. Followed by her looking in a mirror which distorts her face. We then see her tear drop, as it drops it fades to a water drop falling into water. It cuts back to the back, the girl now bursts out of the water.

Scenes 7-8

It now cuts to rain falling followed by zooming out to the girl looking out of the window.

This is currently how I see the run through of the film so it will be edited this way unless I change my mind in editing. I may add a few more scenes as I think it will be really short otherwise. Scenes I may add will involve further face distortion footage on different surfaces. I am quite keen to end it on the girl looking out of the window so the other scenes I will fit in between the silhouette and mirror scenes. 

For editing I want to use cross fades to blend between scenes such as the tear drop to the water drop falling into water, I think this will be really effective and add to the surreal look. For most I think the cross fade will be the better choice, but I do want to use the technique of overlaying two scenes like in the Adrift short film. A couple of transitions between scenes I will use zooming in and out to the next scene and a fade to black when transitioning from the silhouette sequence.
