Some scenes have been overlayed over one and other to give the surreal look to this short film. Seemingly random images are overlay over footage of a woman laid with her eyes shut. This lets the audience decide whether these are her dreams or something else. I like the use of overlaying footage and I hadn't really thought about using it before, considering the contents of my idea I think it could work really well with the idea so I may use it if it fits well when I edit the film together. The music in this film is also very surreal which fits with it but I do not want to have a piece this surreal in terms of music, I want a contrast.
I noticed a lot of surrealist films are in black and white which I will be doing, originally I had intended to do it in colour but when I looked at these films and thought more, black and white seems like the right look for it. Unless the colours were enhanced a lot I don't think it would work as a colour film.
